The New Zealand digital strategy has achieved international standing as an innovative way of describing the national policy and strategic frameworks modern societies need to have in place to take up the challenge of the 21st century.

The strategy speaks to three separate areas - Connection, Confidence and Content. The OECD has produced a similar policy/strategic triangle - Convergence, Confidence and Creativity.

These, and other areas of debate are currently being discussed by 47 countries and 1500 delegates who are part of an OECD Ministerial in Seoul.

Paul Reynolds, of McGovern Online is there as part of the New Zealand delegation. He is also attending in his capacity as Adjunct Director to the New Zealand National Library. The NZ National Library was the lead agency in the development of the New Zealand Digital Content Strategy.

Paul is blogging from the conference on his personal blog. He welcomes comments.
