Last year McGovern Online started working with National Services Te Paerangi to design the interface  for the new NZMuseums website. The site was then built by  Vernon Systems using  eHive, an online collections management system using international museum standards and the latest technologies .

NZMuseums showcases New Zealand's museums and galleries and their collections. It's also a directory of museums and galleries, and an online collection management system. NZMuseums is the initiative of National Services Te Paerangi, a team at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, in Wellington, New Zealand.

There are plans afoot for further development, to integrate with DigitalNZ and add Google Maps to all museum and gallery profiles
