Alannah Currie, aka Miss Pokeno, one time third leg of the Thompson Twins, is in the news in the UK over her controversial and inspiring series of armchair art works which she is exhibiting at The Ragged School, London in an exhibition entitled England Bloody England..

In 2004, Alannah moved back to London from New Zealand in order to gain more skills and spent two years at London Met University learning traditional furniture production.
