Gow Langsford Gallery is a leading New Zealand dealer gallery promoting contemporary art from New Zealand and international artists. McGovern has been the gallery's web partner and developer since 1999.
In 2006 the owners decided the site needed a complete redesign in keeping with the growth and development of the business.
User feedback from the previous site indicated that there is growing market interest in Edition artworks so a new section was added to accommodate this sector. As the primary focus of the site visitor is to view the artworks, the image presentation was rethought and upgraded allowing each artist their own virtual gallery. Site visitors are now able to collect images of interest and save them to their own virtual gallery where they can send the link to friends or to Gow Langsford with enquiries.
The site is simple, clean and easy to navigate and continues to be developed with small iterative improvements, ensuring nothing gets between the audience and the artworks.
