Russell McVeagh is regarded by many as New Zealand's premier law firm. McGovern has worked with the firm since 1995, when we developed their first ever website.
Fast forward to 2007 and it was decided that an entirely new site was required. McGovern was commissioned to research, design and then construct the new site. To ensure this site met the needs of Russell McVeagh and its audiences, in-depth research and analysis was undertaken, based on a user-centred design approach using focused interviews and group workshops.
The results of this work informed the website strategy. As well as a fresh, new, innovative look to follow the current brand, the site needed to place special emphasis on recruitment and the diverse needs of these specific audiences.
The resulting website profiles the firm, its people and work. It communicates the firm’s unique culture to those thinking of joining the Russell McVeagh teams, from summer clerks through to overseas hires, using text, imagery and video.
